- The LP 30th Anniversary version of these drums are very similar to the original, exquisite Giovanni Palladium congas. The modifications to the design are largely aesthetic, paying homage to the period in time when latin and jazz music took the reins of the musical culture of New York City. Festive and very old-world, the vertical bands of color running down these drums, and their uniform 32" height give these drums a 1960's style. The quality of the drums remains the same, including Curve II Rims for an improved sound spectrum, heavy gauge steel LP Hearts side plates, heat treated tuning lugs (40% stronger), and 3-ply Siam Oak shells.
